Your challenge
"Purchasing the right vehicles at the best rates from German of French speaking suppliers". That will be your biggest challenge as a Purchaser at BAS Trucks.
BAS Trucks is based in Veghel in the Netherlands and sells more than 8,000 vehicles a year worldwide! We have ambitious growth plans and would like to broaden and enlarge our range in order to grow even further. To realize these plans, we are looking for an ambitious Purchaser with a passion for international trade and commercial vehicles. As a Buyer you are always on the road, visiting large and small suppliers and speak English and German or French fluently. Do you feel at home in an informal, young and international team and do you enjoy being on the road a lot? Then this is the perfect challenge for you!
Your tasks
• Building a network of suppliers and purchasing channels;
• Maintain contact with various suppliers in Europe;
• Visit suppliers in Europe (approx. 4 days a week);
• Compile the ideal stock;
• Draw up and maintain a competitive pricing strategy;
• Together with the marketing team, you ensure that the right suppliers are approached and triggered through marketing campaigns;
• You support our sales agents during the sales process with your product and market knowledge.

BAS Trucks
Bij BAS Trucks zit je in het centrum van de actie. Je kijkt uit op een terrein van een paar voetbalvelden groot, dat is volgebouwd met trekkers, opleggers, bakwagens, kippers en combi’s. Vanuit Veghel vinden ze hun weg naar tevreden klanten in meer dan honderd landen, wereldwijd. Onze gedreven teams spreken letterlijk de taal van de klant en regelen alles om het verkoop- en vervoerproces zo soepel mogelijk te laten verlopen. Ze kennen de weg in marketing, IT & Development, Finance & HR en zijn klantvriendelijk, vernieuwend, energiek en gedreven. En vooral: handels bekwaam! Daar wil je bij horen. Als collega bij BAS Trucks werk je op (of op het terrein van) het moderne hoofdkantoor in Veghel welke gevestigd is aan de Mac Arthurweg 2 in Veghel.
